The master puppeteers bring one the most famous of the Grimm Brothers’ stories to life with exquisitely crafted marionettes, scrolling scenery and the beautiful music of Englebert Humperdinck. Hansel and Gretel get lost while picking berries and end up trapped in a house constructed of cake and candy. Can they work together to get themselves out of trouble and back home safely?
Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel is part of our Celebrate! performing arts series. This program is free thanks to the Highland Street Foundation, and is recommend for family audiences and children ages 5 and up. Learn more and register for this event.
