Distinguished Speaker Series: JFK's Legacy of Citizen Service
Join us for a panel discussion on the importance of public service and President Kennedy’s legacy of service today featuring Robert Gordon, Dorothy Stoneman, and John Bridgeland.
Rob Gordon is President of Be The Change, Inc. and previously served in the Obama, Bush and Clinton administrations. Dorothy Stoneman is the founder and former President of YouthBuild, a prominent civil rights activist, and recipient of the prestigious Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship. John Bridgeland is the Vice Chair of the Service Year Alliance and previously served as the founding director of the USA Freedom Corps under President George W. Bush.
Hosted by the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation and the Tisch College Distinguished Speaker Series, with support from FOCUS and the Leonard Carmichael Society at Tufts University, this event is part of the JFK100 Centennial Celebration, a year-long series of special events and initiatives to celebrate the 100th anniversary of President Kennedy’s birth.
